New DHMK30 insertion grade

New DHMK30 insertion grade

DMK30 – DPA’s latest XPET insertion substrate – a micrograin structure characterized by cobalt content, has good edge strength and abrasion resistance, while maintaining excellent toughness. DHMK30 is designed for high performance applications involving tool steel, austenitic stainless steel and most high temperature alloys.

New rhino horn “N” blade

The DPA expanded its popular Toroid rhino – carb chnc-pressed insert line, which is a new N cut geometry for round and octagonal inserts. Compared with the stronger T insertion edge, the new N inserts provide smoother cutting action for steel, iron and many stainless steel. N provides a more positive edge preparation and rake Angle than T, providing excellent cutting action, which is less than T’s temperature and pressure and provides greater intensity than the very high D.

Using the T geometry of DPA, where to make the heaviest cut, or where vibration or vibration may cause edge damage. This geometry is suitable for steel, iron and 4500 series of stainless steel.

Using DPA N geometry, high performance steel, iron and 4500 series stainless steel in typical cutting applications.

DPA D geometry is used for minimum tool pressure and higher shear applications. This geometric shape is the best for most stainless steel and high-temperature alloys, but it is also a very free performer to cut in soft steel.

Our latest matrix is called DHMK25. It has medium cobalt content micrograin structure, has very good edge strength and wear resistance, while maintaining excellent toughness. DHMK25 is designed for the application of tool steel, austenitic stainless steel and most high temperature alloys. DHMK25 is available in our D geometry and new N (see above), but is not available in t. It will be used in each of our high-performance coatings:

AlTiN DHMK25 – GLH (premium)

Basic AlTiN DHMK257 ()

AlCrN DHMK25 – HP (premium)

DHMK253 (TiCN)
