DPA’s advanced HBN bulb inserted into the helical cutting edge can now range from 10mm to 32mm. The HBN insert helical cutting edge optimizes the performance of the ball nose cleaning application, provides a smoother cutting motion, reduces the flutter and provides a cleaner surface finish. HBN geometry can cut and increase metal removal and decrease the stress of working materials. Another advantage of helical cutting edge is the extension of cutter life.

DPA introduces a new self-centering line for general processing. Two models, sc-125 (4.9 “/ 125mm wide) and smaller sc-090 (3.9” / 90mm wide), are designed to meet the requirements of working on the 5 axis milling machine. The new high-precision vises are compact, high, self-centered. The parts on the vise bed are held aloft so that the spindle of the machine can almost touch all sides of the workpiece. The self-centering function allows all coordinates of the workpiece to be programmed from a common reference point.
